About The Author
Clyde Roy Pack is an associate editor at The Paintsville Herald, where he also writes an award-winning humor column. He was an elementary and high school art and English teacher for 33 years before retiring in 1994. He is also the author of Muddy Branch: Memories of an Eastern Kentucky Coal Camp, published in 2002 by the Jesse Stuart Foundation(ISBN 1-931672-10-5). He lives in Paintsville with his wife of 42 years, Wilma Jean Penix Pack.
