Clyde Roy Pack is an associate editor at The Paintsville Herald, where he also writes an award-winning humor column. He was an elementary and high school art and English teacher for 33 years before retiring in 1994. He lives in Paintsville with his wife of 47 years, Wilma Jean Penix Pack.

Mark Maynard
Mark Maynard is a veteran newspaperman who has spent his entire career at one newspaper – The Independent in Ashland, Kentucky. He started out rolling ticker tape, became a sports clerk, then a sports writer, then sports editor and is currently the editor of the 20,000 circulation daily newspaper.
