Ann R. Looney of Paris, Tennessee, writes about Sergeant Sandlin: Kentucky’s Forgotten Hero by James M. Gifford:   Reading your book was such a pleasant break in my busy life.  It would have been a dishonor for no one to have written about Sgt. Sandlin.  I’m proud of him and of you and I know Kentucky is proud of both!  The book is a beautiful book – loved the cover and was amazed at the numerous pictures you unearthed.  I purchased a copy for a veteran friend of mine from Kentucky.
