Just An Educated Farmer
W. Roy Burris grew up on a small farm and worked his way through college, earning a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture at Tennessee Tech and a Masters and PH.D. at the University of Kentucky. Pride in his rural heritage prompted him to forge a long and successful career in his chosen field of agriculture.
This book is a light-hearted collection of essays about how farm families deal with real life issues. Many of these essays reflect a time when life was simpler and family values were, perhaps, stronger. Dr Burris' wit and wisdom would appeal to anyone interested in rural life in America, and the book would also be a valuable resource to professionals in the field of agriculture.
